This website is for a client of mine that is a predominantly Instagram-based food blogger. Because it’s Instagram, her content was limited to only one photo at a time, with brief text, mostly in the form of emojis and hashtags. She then decided to start really blogging, with longer posts featuring different foods she got to try and places she got to go.
I wanted to create this website to cater to her half a million fans who know her mostly through Instagram, so I highlighted her Insta account right at the top, surrounded by a storm of rainbow sprinkles. I also wanted it to be easier for her to gain an even bigger following, so next up are all her social media accounts. She often collaborates with bakeries and restaurants to feature their food, so I very clearly called out to this audience and included her email for contact.
Next up are her 3 most recent blog posts. She didn’t want to bombard visitors right away with her whole blog, so I limited it to 3, and included a short excerpt and the main photo. You can get to the blog by clicking on “From the Blog,” one of the posts, or “My Blog” in the nav bar. At the bottom you have a list of 4 of the articles that Foooodieee was featured in, and each photo links out to said article. You can get to this section through the nav bar as well.
Like Foooodieee herself, the website is straightforward and bright and makes everyone smile.
